Terms of sale, effective October 9, 2026. The short, plain version of how buying from SLCrochetCo works.
Who we are
SLCrochetCo is a one-person studio in California. Our mailing address is provided with your order confirmation and return instructions. You can reach the studio by email at any time.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars. Free US shipping is included in every price; there is no separate shipping charge and no handling fee. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies and is shown before you pay. Prices can change, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Orders
Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email. If a piece turns out to be unavailable, for example a one of a kind piece that sold moments before your checkout completed, we will cancel that part of the order and refund it in full.
One of a kind pieces go to the first completed checkout. Made to order pieces are limited to three of the same piece per order; email us for larger quantities.
Made to order and custom notes
Made to order pieces are crocheted after you order in the color, size or length you choose. A custom size or length you type into the order field becomes part of the order; if a request is not something we can make, we will email you before starting, and you can change it or cancel for a full refund.
Handmade variation
Every piece is made by hand. Finished dimensions may vary by about 1 to 2 inches, and stitch and color vary slightly between pieces and between yarn dye lots. These differences are part of the work and are not defects.
Colors and photos
Colors appear differently on different screens, and yarn dye lots vary a little from batch to batch. If an exact shade matters, ask for a true-color photo of the piece before you order.

Shipping times and the returns policy are part of these terms. See shipping and returns and exchanges.
Our responsibility
If something goes wrong with an order, we will repair, remake, replace or refund it. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Photos and text
The photos, text and designs on this site belong to SLCrochetCo. Please ask before reusing them; a link back is always welcome.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. The terms in force when you order are the ones that apply to that order.
